I don’t get the cameras, but I get a lot of stares in the bright yellow FoST. When I went to vote, a wom an and her 4ish year old kid were walking out of the polling place. The kid saw me rolling by and about lost his damn mind. The thumbs up and stares from pedestrians is cool and all, but watching young car enthusiasts lose their shit as they have to smile and yell and tell their parents how cool my car is? That feels best of all. Death to grayscale crossovers, long live brightly colored fun cars.

I t ry to actually let people *into* my car at car shows. Cause kids want to play with things and being able to be inside a car is better than being told ‘look but don’t touch’. I hope I convinced a few parents to get a FoST or a GTI or the like for their kids’ sakes.i have very vivid memories of being allowed to sit in a guards red, 1980s Porsche carerra convertible with black leather. I was maybe 3 or 4 but I became a Porschephile on that day and the images are burned into my memory. I hope I do the same for those kids.

(Excuse the sappiness, I was thinking about this recently and this is a relevant place for these comments)
